Evander Holyfield whose foreclosed mansion sold for $7.5 million


On Monday July 9,2012 Heavy Weight Boxing Champion Evander Holyfield was moving out of his 7.5 million dollar home in Atlanta. It was not by choice that Holyfield had to move however he was behind on his mortgage by 14 million. J.P Morgan Chase has recently bought the estate.

Evander Holyfield Mansion 109 rooms,, 17 baths, 3 kitchens, a bowling alley, a movie theater, an Olympic-sized swimming pool, is 54,000 square feet and sits on 235 acres of land.

The home was bought in 2003 and was used for such great things such as a children’s summer camp held annually, community BBQ for the 4th of July, also Tyler Perry filmed “A Diary of a Mad Black Women”.This estate has also been used for many private parties/ fundraisers etc…

Who would have ever thought that the Heavy Weight Champ Mr. Evander Holyfield would be needing to hire some movers due to his eviction. However J.P Morgan Chase, who are the owners of the estate now has mentioned  that “Holyfield was very cooperative with the speedy process”.
