Checking in on the Necole Bitchie report: The King of the Barclays, Jay-Z, was spotted shooting around prior to the start of the game. He sat courtside with Beyonce per usual and when the game was over, he took to twitter to brag about the Nets overtime win with a tweet that read, “The city is under new management.” Barclays Center provided tons of entertainment last night as the Brooklyn Nets finally played the New York Knicks on their home turf. Before the game began, former 3LW singer/turned actress Naturi Naughton sang the National Anthem and hip hop legend Slick Rick blessed the arena during half-time with some throwback Hip Hop. Unfortunately the crowd wasn’t as receptive to Slick Rick and he was booed. According to one tweeter that attended the game, “Uhhhmmmm, Slick Rick is getting booed at halftime of #nets #Knicks game. He might be high. My childhood is waving bye bye.”
