Among the many in attendance (according to Revolt TV was Patti LaBelle, Holly Robinson Peete, Tyrone “Tye” Tribbett, Alonzo Mourning (with his wife), Mary Mary and a number of industry folks. One of the most moving moments during the service was a tear-jerking performance by the great Patti LaBelle. As many agreed, the singer did Webster justice with her recital.
Even though many people in the church knew that Patti was in a better place, hearts remained heavy during the procession.
This was the saddest news I heard all month. Patti was really loved by her clients whom were very happy and proud they were part of her umbrella. Dwight Howard I know personally was very proud as he made sure to mention he had the best representation out there. Man, I always think its terrible when parents have to bury their child. Even though 49 wasn’t quite a child to parents we will always be their babies. RIP Patti Webster you will be missed by many.
