Jet Ski Operator Suspect Arrested “Jeffrey Simon Hubbard” In Death of Usher’s Stepson Ryan Glover

Jeffrey Simon Hubbard is the man allegedly responsible for the death of Tamika Raymond’s son Ryan Glover in July 2012.

On Thursday (Feb. 28), a Grand Jury in Hall County, Georgia, indicted jet ski operator Jeffrey Simon Hubbard on charges including homicide by vessel and reckless operation of a vessel. Word whether Hubbard will be released on bail will be given over the weekend. The indictment was for for Homicide by Vessel, Serious Injury by Vessel, as well as Reckless Operation of a Vessel.

Tameka Raymond’s son, Kile Glover, suffered severe brain injuries on July 6th when police believe Hubbard’s jet ski collided with him. Kile was on an inflatable raft at the time of the accident and vacationing with his father, Ryan Glover, at the time of the incident.Kile was hospitalized but never regained consciousness and died on July 21. According to authorities, Hubbard was riding a jet ski behind the pontoon and lost control, before colliding with Glover’s tube.

Hubbard, 38, a friend of the family, was driving the jet ski that struck Kile, who was with an unidentified 15-year-old girl at the time. Both children were airlifted to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston.
